I moved to NYC in October 2016 but I didn't have much of an appreciation for art when I first moved here. It took some time to grow on me but around two and a half years later my appreciation for art finally did mature and I have taken a lot more of a liking to it.

 

I think the atmosphere and culture of New York City just makes it almost impossible for someone's enjoyment of art to not grow on them when they live here whether they consciously realize it or not. But I would say that my appreciation really started when I decided to visit all of the museums around me and there are so many good ones here that NYC is known for.

I have taken a lot of pictures of paintings, buildings, sculptures, designs, and natural landscapes here in NYC and in other places that I've traveled to. I decided to put all of those pictures together into a collage and share them here with you.
