*UPDATE* This site is now shut down. It was great while it lasted, but more and more publications slowly caught on, with more and more websites blocking access to their content as time went on. The domain name is for sale now though, with a minimum asking price of a whopping $150,000!
Lots of publication companies such as Bloomberg, NY Times, Wall Street Journal and loads more have implemented a paywall over the past couple of years to try and boost revenues.
I understood why they were doing it since sales have certainly been hurting due to a huge increase in the supply of published content from the internet so I accepted the paywall as the new normal.
Just recently though I became a little annoyed after I accidentally clicked on 2 articles on Bloomberg causing me to lose 2 out of 3 of my free articles for the month.
I became curious if there was a way to somehow hack the system and get those 2 free articles back and what I found was even better.
I found a website that allows you to get around this paywall for most publication sites and it is very simple to use.
The website is called www.outline.com and all you have to do is copy and paste the URL of the article you’re trying to read in the website’s homepage (shown below) and you can then enjoy reading.
